Framework for Life Program

Our Framework For Life program provides people with complex needs a day-program that assists them in understanding and attaining their basic human rights. This program ensures that individuals with developmental disabilities have the best opportunity to live full and independent lives by following four main principles:

People with disabilities have the same rights as everyone else. We work to educate our clients on their rights, the responsibilities associated with those rights, and the opportunities to exercise those rights.

Individuals must be included in their community through common interests, goal setting, and relationship building. We seek out opportunities in the community and build strong, meaningful relationships with the organizations so that we can provide the best possible opportunities for our clients to realize their dreams.

Individuals should work towards becoming more independent through community participation, and be empowered and supported to achieve their goals. We help our clients identify areas where they’d like to become more independent, and support them in taking steps to make this happen.

Everybody has the right to work, but this is not easily achieved by people with disabilities. Our team focuses on seeking opportunities in the community for Albertans with disabilities to find work.
