Kevin’s passion for working with individuals with disabilities is rooted in his upbringing; being raised with his Aunt, who had a disability, made a lasting impression on him. Kevin studied Psychology at the University of Alberta where he completed his B.A., M.Ed., and Ph.D. As a strong believer in the importance of family life, Kevin wanted to extend the values of ‘home’ into his work. Entrust was founded on this core value and continues to guide the work and services we provide.
With a background in Education and a profound belief in human potential, Tilton saw the need to provide accessible service and support to those living with disabilities within our communities. Tilton started at Entrust in 2003, beginning with only two homes, he worked on the front lines as a Service Manager in order to empower and enhance the lives of his clients. Tilton’s leadership, passion, and innovation have been essential in building Entrust into what it is today.
Dan is passionate about giving back to the community as an experienced Chartered Accountant. In Joining the Entrust team, Dan became responsible for overseeing Entrust’s finances and IT. Spotlighted in CPA Magazine and Vision Alberta in 2013 and 2014, this young CA is driven to make sure that everything is correctly and completely handled. Dan's insight has helped streamline Entrust's business systems into what it is today.
Almost a decade ago, Adam completed his University studies here in Alberta and joined the Entrust team. He started on the front lines prior to becoming a Service Manager, a role which he held for six years. With his years of experience and dedication, Adam has become a vital part of the Entrust team. He is fluent in French, has three beautiful kids, and enjoys playing basketball and baseball in his free time.
With a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, Rory is passionate about getting people who experience disabilities included in the community and helping to increase the quantity and quality of relationships in their lives. Rory joined the Entrust team in 2011 and is responsible for the creation and development of Entrust’s Framework For Life Program.
Ryan has been a part of the Entrust team for over a decade. Starting in 2004, he has witnessed the growth of the company first-hand; seeing the company expand in size and scope has been a fulfilling experience for Ryan. He began his career with Entrust as a front line staff member, then took on the role of Service Manager before moving into his current position.
With fifteen years of diverse human resources and management experience, Paul has extensive hands-on-experience leading HR initiatives including full cycle recruitment, training and development, policy design, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee/labour relations. His passion and drive, tempered with the chance to make a difference in the lives of others is why he joined Entrust in 2014.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Economics, Psychology and a Masters of Science in Psychology from India, Roopa moved to Birmingham, Alabama. She worked as an assistant psychologist focusing on psychological testing, diagnosis, life skills training and behavior management plans for people in the Autism Spectrum. Since March of 2015, Roopa has worked alongside other behavioral specialists at Entrust to develop behavioral plans for each of our clients.
After graduating from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Psychology and years of volunteer experience working with children diagnosed with Autism under her belt, Emery began working with the Ability Society of Alberta to implement strategies into the homes of children with disabilities. Emery began working at Entrust as a Mentor with our FFL Day Program in March 2015, before moving into her current role as Behaviour Specialist.
Dana began her career with Entrust 18 years ago and has witnessed the growth and development of the company first hand. She is more passionate than ever about her work and is dedicated in providing exceptional service and care to her clients.
Dedicated to client care and the well-being of the Entrust team, Bretton structures his leadership on trust, honesty, and integrity. With over 8-years experience working in the field and growing up around individuals with disabilities, Bretton has developed a drive to advocate and support these individuals in our communities. Some of his best experiences come from his humanitarian missions abroad.
Caelin graduated from the University of Alberta in 2014 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Linguistics. Since July 2014, Caelin, previously worked on helping uphold safety, health and CET standards throughout Entrust homes. She is passionate about coming up with creative and practical solutions for environmental interventions. Cealin is now working in the behavior specialist role.
Ellie joined Entrust in 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade and Commerce from South Korea and a Business Management Diploma from the University of Victoria. Ellie is an eager learner, always looking to expand her skillset and contribute in new ways to Entrust - She is determined to continue helping people. When not working, Ellie and her fiancé like to play tennis, golf like outdoor actives, also like to travel together.
Victoria's interest working with individuals with disabilities began with a co-op placement in high school where she worked in an integrated classroom with neurotypical children and children with autism and cerebral palsy. Now, with a BA in Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, she is our Learning and Development Coordinator, providing training to new team members that includes CPI nonviolent crisis intervention. Victoria also coordinates health and safety and quality assurance for our programming. She has a passion for helping others succeed. Victoria loves to travel, go on adventures, and eat delicious food.
Hana has a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan. She started with Entrust as an Assistant Manager and has since moved into the role of Service Manager. Hana’s heart has always been in the community; she is a passionate advocate for people with complex needs and works to empower them to live their version of a meaningful life. In her spare time, she volunteers for Homeward Trust and spends her free time enjoying the company of family.
Leila completed the HR Management Diploma through Grant MacEwan University and has her Executive Learning Certification through the University of Alberta. She is now in the process of completing her Bachelor of Commerce with a major in human resources with Athabasca University. With 5 years of HR Advisor experience, Leila brings an abundance of knowledge in full cycle recruiting practices, special projects, and training and development to Entrust.
After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Social Work, Gabriel has spent the last 9 years working with some of the most vulnerable people in Edmonton through Hope Mission, an inner city agency which houses and supports the homeless. He now brings his passion for helping individuals with needs to Entrust. In his free time, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids (getting out to do some fishing and hunting with family is always nice too)!
Sarah has her BA in English from Concordia University and has plans to pursue a Master’s in Philosophy to someday teach at the University level. Before she began at Entrust, Sarah worked for the Provincial government as a Constituency Assistant for her MLA. Yearning for a new challenge, she was happy to join the Entrust team to contribute to the lives of others in a meaningful way. She has a sidekick named Morgan – a little dog that comes wherever she is allowed to bring him.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Bethany grew up immersed in the service and care for individuals with complex needs. With great devotion, Bethany went on to study Psychology at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Having interned with Entrust before, Bethany returned after graduation to continue advocating and providing care to individuals with complex needs.
Moving from the Philippines to Alberta in 2013, Marco graduated with a Diploma in Digital Media and I.T. from NAIT in 2017. With the goal of helping people to the fullest extent, Marco joined the Entrust team. In his spare time, Marco is very active and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Clint obtained his Degree in Social Work BSW from Thompsons Rivers University, in Kamloops, BC. Before joining the Entrust team, Clint worked as a Housing Coordinator at Oncore Seniors Society. While completing a practicum at PDD Michener Center, Clint gained a vast knowledge about individuals with developmental disabilities. He strongly advocates for all people to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their status.
Prerna joins the Entrust team with a Finance Diploma from NAIT and four years of experience in the banking industry. On her free time you can find her traveling or hanging out with four-legged friends, as she is obsessed with dogs.
Gagan holds a Bachelor in Science with an emphasis on Human Development and Family Studies. Gagan started as an assistant manager with Entrust and since has shifted to a Service Manager position. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in her spare time.
Toby started working for Entrust in the winter 2014. He is a nine year old Scottish Terrier Chihuahua cross and was adopted by Caelin when he was five years old. Toby enjoys his position with Entrust as it allows him to visit with Entrust’s staff and bring smiles to our clients’ faces. He enjoys long walks in cool weather, sunbathing, napping, eating (hotdogs are a favourite), and sitting next to whoever has the best smelling lunches.
